I've been a stills photographer for most of my life. Now with the new generation of HD SLR cameras I'm finding the creative opportunities to be endless. I thought this self assignment would enable me to use my "portrait" eye to capture the personalities that collect at the Naples pier, from young lovers and vacationers to serious fishermen. All was shot one afternoon and evening using the Canon 5D MkII a 70-200 lens, a 50mm and a 24-70 lens.
We were asked to produce a promotional video for this charity to help them raise awareness and funds. Our product, the Vidéage®, was the perfect vehicle because the client needed powerful portraits, strong documentary style images of the work environment, along with emotional video testimonials. The Vidéage® took all of these components and presented a personal face to the heartfelt service these dentists provide to those less fortunate.
The mission of Dental Outreach of Collier, Inc. (DOC) is to provide comprehensive dental treatment to the underserved of Southwest Florida while assisting in the education of future dental healthcare providers.
