  4. The cake that makes itself...

    My girlfriend Dee has been making her legendary chocolate biscuit cake for so long now that the ingredients have taken it into their own hands to make it themselves... "for the greater good!"

    A first attempt at stop-motion, and it took a full week (2,485 photos and 2 panning videos) to shoot and edit. Shot on a Canon 550D and edited using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and a hell of a lot of coffee!

    This is a re-edit of the original, removing mention of the Chef Factor competition. An edit of this won both the Audience Choice Award and the Judge's Award at the "30 Minute Film Festival" section of the Galway Film Fleadh 2012. It was also an official selection of the ITSA Film Festival in California in 2012.
