The One World Film Festival is the flagship program of One World Arts, a Canadian charitable organization that has been raising awareness and fostering public engagement on global issues since 1972.

The OWFF is Ottawa's longest-running annual documentary film festival. Since 1989, the festival has been raising awareness on a diverse range of global issues through presentations of thought-provoking documentaries, panel discussions, Q&As with filmmakers, workshops, and information fairs with grassroots and non-governmental organizations, connecting audiences with opportunities to learn more about and take action on issues of local and global concern.
