  2. You are! You're the king of the road, the town, the whole shebang!

Thanks to the support of NYC Council Members Jim Oddo, Debi Rose, Vinnie Ignizio, Domenic Recchia and Christine Quinn, Borough President Jim Molinaro, Deputy BP Ed Burke, Commisioner Kate Levin and Mayor Mike Bloomberg Historic Richmond Town is receiving major improvements that will transform this historic town.

    Work starts early 2014!

    We can't wait!

Special shout out to Steve Matteo, chief of staff to Jim Oddo, who worked hard behind the scenes for this improvement. :)

  3. Hoist your mug. Pound a table. Give your ears a treat. Tavern Concerts. Hear music the way it was meant to be enjoyed...in an aged tavern with beer, cider and wood smoke. Treat your friends. Treat yourself.

  5. Historic Richmond Town produces another quintessential American event: the New York City BBQ Cookoff. This food fest is the first and only Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned competition in NYC. Generous prizes, an historic atmosphere and lots of elbow room attracted the best cooks in the region on April 22, 2012. Despite the rain and cool temperature, thousands showed up to taste BBQ and vote on the People's Choice. At the end of the video there is a list of the top winners. Great cookin' folks.

The NYC BBQ Cookoff supports Historic Richmond Town in its mission: to preserve and present centuries of American life.
