On April 18, upper school students enjoyed a day to reflect and learn how to make better decisions by being self-aware and compassionate. Actor and comedian John Morello performed "Dirt," a one-man show about drugs, bullying, and choices, former NFL safety and current Bullis parent John Booty talked about overcoming adversity, and a team from Inward Bound Mindfulness Education shared meditation techniques that can help students perform better in stressful situations.
Thanks to upper school counselor Lisa Gray, upper school assistant principal Bobby Pollicino, and everyone else who helped plan the day.
On February 20, upper school students untucked their shirts, loosened their ties and enjoyed a day off from class to "live a little." Ryan Porter came to campus to give his "Make Your Own Lunch" presentation.
