1. Now in its sixth year, FITC Tokyo 2015 consists of presentations from some of the most interesting and engaging digital creators from all around the world. To commemorate FITC Tokyo’s inaugural title sequence we sought to encapsulate the city itself—distilled to graphic form. Aiming to contrast the harmonies of traditional Japanese culture against the backdrop and sensory overload of present-day Tokyo, we meticulously crafted elegant typographic forms to collide with abrasive, overstimulating glitch—giving way to a progressive journey where moments of extreme chaos fold into temporary tranquility.

  2. In my life I have been fortunate to have explored fascinating places around the world. There is one particular city though, that keeps giving me new emotions every day. It is Roma (or Rome).
Its variety of architectures that stands clearly apart from other "megacities", Its unparalleled history legacy and Its intimate and quieter sides make Rome a city that does get into your bloodstream.

Rome has been documented in different ways and for different purposes but few videos make you appreciate this city through local's eyes.

I have dedicated months filming everyday's moment to describe a day in Rome through a roman's eyes. This short film is the result. Let me indulge you for a few minutes.

This is compilation of hyperlapse videos that I shot over the course of the past 2 years. I spent a lot of time scouting for locations, waiting for the perfect conditions, and catching the beauty of the city. Lighting is important. Sunrises, sunsets; transitions from dawn to day, and from dusk to dark. I used a lot of self-developed tricks and techniques in both the shooting and editing processes - it took a lot of time and passion to make this video.

  4. 'And Then I Vanish' is a surreal motion poem, which has started as a simple spare time project months ago.
Since then it grew, it changed quite a lot - and now it's finally done.
I tried to restrict myself by some rules, e.G. only going for portraits & close-ups and maintaining the same light direction.
Made with Cinema4D & Octane Render.

    created by Cornel Swoboda,
    sound design by Oliver Salkic,
    voice/vocals by Victoria Ward,
poem by Cornel Swoboda & Ron Weaver.
