For Monterey Bay Aquarium's 2017 “Share the Love” campaign, bus riders and pedestrians on the sidewalks of San Francisco will have their own authentic aquarium experience as they encounter custom built, state-of-the-art interactive bus shelters in two creative executions:
Colorful Conversations – Inspired by an art project I was working on these dynamic digital screens will display a beautiful underwater scene full of color and natural motion, featuring a fashionable cuttlefish. For those who stop to admire him, the imaginative cuttlefish – a natural master of camouflage – will detect the color of the current viewer’s clothing, morphing his color to match his admirer and relaying a personal message.
Silhouette Moments – Digital displays will showcase scenes of the Aquarium's real-life underwater beauty, framed by animated silhouettes of aquarium “visitors” observing the magic. When pedestrians step within range, the experience will capture that person’s silhouette and display it onto the underwater experience itself. Users will be playfully prompted to show their “best octopus impression,” test “how high they can jump,” and more.
With Abbott as the title sponsor for the marathon’s Health and Fitness Expo, we welcomed over 145K racers, supporters and volunteers during the marathon weekend. In support the team created a massive brand pavilion with the main attraction of an interactive motion capture pod experience. During the 3 days we asked the over 3000 guests to show us their interpretation of life.to the fullest. Where guests showed off their joyfullest, their playfullest and their skillfullest.
For the 2015 Shop.org Digital Summit in Philadelphia PA SapientNitro welcomed over 5,000 industry professionals in the 2-1/2 day event focused around digital and omnichannel retailers.
In order to inspire and build stronger relationships with attendees SapientNitro created a buzz worthy booth experience centered around the Future of Retail. Chris lead the team that developed the concept and the designs for the booth. Which included all of it's experiences for SapientNitro. The booth and it’s clean faceted design was inspired by the new dimension created by the future of retail. The booth design esthetic continued into the Future of Retail touchscreen experience . Where the interactive experience bridged both the physical and digital worlds. The elegant booth design and the interactive touchscreen experience was accompanied by the Virtual Reality Retail Prototype experience Chris debuted at Cannes. The VR experience became the highlight of the 2015 Shop.org Digital Summit. It generated enormous buzz around the conference and demonstrated how SapientNitro created new dimension in e-commerce and the Future of Retail.
