Issues of globalization and the plight of undocumented immigrant workers are some of the themes explored in The Golden Dragon, on stage at UF in the Black Box Theatre located in the Nadine McGuire Theatre and Dance Pavilion October 1-11. Presented by UF’s School of Theatre + Dance, the surrealistic play is set in the sweaty kitchen of a Pan Asian restaurant, the dining room within the restaurant and various apartments in the building where the restaurant is housed. Performance times are 7:30 p.m. October 1-2 and October 6-10, and at 2 p.m. October 4 and October 11.
