In November 2015 I had the opportunity to fly over Iceland in an ultralight aircraft. The scenery was stunning, the ride was thrilling and the plane was built by the pilot himself. Quite an adventure!
The inspiration for this project was born from a drive and fascination I have with how we view our world. I’m fascinated by how humans frame surroundings through their individual bubble of experience; and become adapted to a certain way of seeing. My images aim to subvert the common view and present an entirely unique one. By balancing recognizable elements like animals with an abstracted approach I hope to challenge and expand the viewers’ perception of their world.
