This is a documentary about the Drug Users Resource Centre (A.K.A. DURC) which operated free services and resources for the community Downtwon East side between 2003 to 2017.The Centre is an active peer-run community Centre in the Downtown East side that provided a vibrant hub for partnerships, empowerment and mobilization. It's was a place where everyone is welcomed, accepted and celebrated as contributors to the community, a place where everyone's voice is encouraged and everyone's story is heard. The Centre offers a broad spectrum of services and it's shining a warmth light to those living in the shadows.
Snapshot Media Group is a program in the community Downtown East side, Vancouver, which is directed by Sylvain Aubé and driven by the participants of the class. The objectives are to develop an understanding of the digital video production process: development, pre-production, post-production, recruiting, rent location, advise authority etc... and production, shooting, editing, manage tasks, employees and production. To learn importance and power of film and storytelling - genres, philosophies, ethics, style, format. To learn how to secure funding, raise money, apply for grants. Carry out basic Pre-production task example: location planning, working with talent, management persons. Explore various concept and direction styles. Utilize different shot types, utilize different camera movement techniques. Record different types of synchronous and non-synchronous sound for video. Utilize basic editing techniques for video post-production and prepared movies for distribution via disk or on the Web.

The group is in pre-production process, up to date, and the project is a production of a film of 46 minute documentary/biography styles mixed together about a Juno Award winner, a famous artist from Ontario, Mr. Devon Martin, A.k.a: Mr. Metro. the doc/bio will include acted scenes by actors to reproduce moments of the life of Devon after his victory of his Juno Award in 1993, we include in the presentation of him the development of the lyrics and music who made him winner for the Juno Award as a flashback in his life in the mid beginning of the film.The project itself will be during 2017 and the
