Former dancer Andrea Boyd is an advanced certified Jivamukti YogaÂ® teacher, and cofounder and codirector of Jivamukti Yoga Charleston. Often described as an earnest and compassionate teacher, her classes are disciplined, challenging, fun, and creative, with strong messages grounded in scripture.
Andrea Boyd has served as Lead Mentor for the residential Jivamukti Yoga teacher training at the Omega Institute, and formerly served as assistant to Jivamukti Yoga founders, Sharon Gannon and David Life. With Ruth Lauer-Manenti, she produced the book An Offering of Leaves, a collection of dharma talks. Boyd currently teaches workshops and retreats internationally.
