Students in my high school TV Production II course directed and shot this version of Drake's Hotline Bling as part of their class assignment. We used both multi-camera and single camera style shooting in the studio and in the field. Greenscreen and live set backgrounds were used. Each student directed a segment and operated the equipment using a live switcher, 3-camera set up, steady cam and a jib. This was their first music video assignment!
This is a Public Service Announcement to help educate students, parents and faculty on the importance of donating blood. The PSA was shot by Campbell Hall Television Production Students using green screen and multi-camera format.
This is a line up of television show shorts written, produced, directed and shot by high school students at Campbell Hall where I teach film and TV production. The students used multi-camera studio set-up and used virtual set backgrounds from the TriCaster for some of the green screen shots.
This is a soap opera short written, produced, directed and acted by 9th-12th graders in the TV Production class at Campbell Hall. Every student was assigned a specific production role and they ran and operated all equipment and gear in the studio and control room. During this semester long course, I teach the students the complete process of television production from start to finish. Students learn how to operate cameras, the audio board, CG operation, Teleprompter, TriCaster switching, lighting, and more! Each student has the opportunity to pitch a program idea then the class decides on the project they would like to produce and shoot. This soap opera is the end of 1st Semester TV Pilot Project - I think they did a great job!!
