There is a piano in front of which one sees an armchair. A window opens out onto a seascape where on one sees a flotilla of ships. Is there a man or is it just a set of juxtaposed objects that configure an anthropomorphic scene?

This video presents a painting that reflects the reductive equation of my African ancestors to inanimate objects to be bought and sold in the marketplace as chattel; Jugs, candles; place mats chairs and tables were perceived as the equals of my ancestors, a sort of human depreciation that reduced them to 3/5th of a human being and thereby absolved the enslaver of his Christian guilt in the evil treatment of a fellow human being.
