    You have a very basic knowledge on Blender and you're searching an interesting tutorial to start your first scene. You are at the good place.
    In this tutorial you will create a typical swiss chalet, the terrain and path, pines and other details. In a cartoon atmosphere you will learn how to assign material and make a quick but beautiful lightset.

    Part 1:
    Modelling the chalet and discover some tool like: extrude, loop cut, separate mesh, individual extrude. Discover a lot of different modelling tips
    Learn how to build a clean geometry and avoid some current beginners mistakes.

    Part2:
    Modelling a lowpoly terrain, using the knife tool to create the path, slide vertex along edge, create triangle form quad, etc...

    Part3:
    Create the pines and others details with some specific method. Discover how to duplicate and clone object, how to manage and link object data. Create some details in the geometry to increase the cartoon effect.

    Part4:
    Create and assign all the materials of the scene, manage multi-material on same object, add sun and hemi light to simulate indirect lighting, add and setup occlusion to make the image looks more powerful. Finally hit the render button and smile because you have create a beautiful render :)
