1. The Camargue is unquestionably the paradise of birds; this region counts more than 350 species of resident birds or migratory. This one is a place of wintering for numerous species (ducks mallards, teals, souchets, etc.), it is a zone of international importance for the migration.
The birds that I most frequently observed in the Camargue : The flamingo, Pied Avocet, Grey Heron, Western Cattle Egrets, Black-headed Gull, Common Shelduck.

  2. Again, testing my new GH3 in Paris... This time in the cold & grey light of the parisian winter.
I used the panasonic lens 12-35mm f2,8 always in autofocus. Very good lens, very sharp, very fast AF but in certain situation it seems to produce some serious moire & aliasing.
Iso are variable from 400 to 1250. 1/100 shutter for better slow motion. Filming handhled as usual.
Rushes was converted to prores before editing in FCP7.
Color grading with Colorista II @ Looks.

    I don't have a Plus account so I have downscaled to 720p.

  3. Where do little birds go in the winter?
A few of them came to feed near the front or back of the house, where trees and bushes have winter berries and fruit...
