"Pessim" is a short film depicting city cultures that grew in suburbs of Japan, seen through the eyes of a lonely man struggled with his past.
It’s a dead-end, between Japanese tradition and western culture.
Directed by filmmaker TAKCOM, inspired by the debut album "Pessim" from RAMZA; a HIP-HOP/BEAT artist based in Nagoya, Japan.
This is my entry for the animation sequence project!
The references are the Durand Durand's music sheet from Barbarella
and the incredible six books of Euclid by sir Oliver Byrne.
The audio is recorded directly from a YAMAHA PSS-50, my first lovely keyboard.
Softwares used Ae - Au
This is a short compilation of some dailies I did based on what's been through my head on a rather strange? month.
No concept, no pressure, no commercial purpose (or any purpose for that matter). No anything.
