Reverie is a short film made for a class called Big Screens at the graduate Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU. This content is specifically made to fit one of the largest screens in the world at IAC in Chelsea, New York, a 120 ft by 10 ft video wall at the resolution of 11520 by 1080 pixels.
You were alone on the last train home as your thoughts meander to a girl you thought you saw passing by. Your moment blends into reverie. You can’t recall the exact situation, or if it was real. Do you have a dream you can’t forget?
We follow the narrative of an individual as he recalls a memory that wavers between visual dimensions.
An experimental superimposition of anime, Unreal Engine environments, and projections.
Featuring the voice of Greg Housset
