This ad was written in English but as it is such a great visual concept we pursuaded the client to cast a foreign person as it was funnier and didn't distract from the idea. They agreed - this commercial has run on World's funniest commercials shows in USA, Britain, Australia, Asia and Japan.
My daughter Imogen is the star among 7 or 8 babies including Ruth Riley Collins, Daisy Chancellor, Plato Savage whose Mum Yvonne was my make-up artist.
Set at a Ladies Finishing School dinner table, the Teacher (Heather Mitchell) shows her pupils how a 'real lady' eats - but gets carried away with the delicious taste of the Inghams Chicken Kiev.. A great fun commercial to film, which we did at Sydney's Strickland House on the harbour - beautifully shot by Geoffrey Wharton ACS, with delicious food styling by Alex Tofield.
