A clip from the event of the Macintosh 30th Celebration Jan 23, 2014 at the FLINT CENTER, the same venue where Steve Jobs first announced the Mac in 1984. On this evening, 30 years later, the largest number of original Mac Team Members ever gathered (with the possible exception of that evening in 1984) meet together. The evening had 3 panels, a photo op for the entire team and a special presentation to Mike Markkula were other highlights. Some special clips from the Boston Computer Society were shown after being 'lost' for 30 years, and this was the first viewing of a few snippets that will be released in their entirety by a joint effort of the Computer History Museum and the Boston Computer Society. It was great to have the very same folks from the clips there on the stage for the 30th Celebration.
The first and second panels were before intermission. Intermission was the group photo, and the second act of the show was opened by Steve Hayden, who is featured in this clip. The third panel was comprised of some top early developers, sharing stories of those early days. More info about the evening, who was featured in the panels on this all-too-short evening can be found at http://www.mac30th.com
