  2. In November 2017 I flew over to Portugal from the UK with huge waves inbound for Nazaré. In the morning of the big swell, Andrew had a nasty wipeout and broke his back and was rushed to hospital after being rescued by the jet ski team and brought to the shore.

I'm not sure who all the surfers are but please tag them and I will add them in the credits.

If you are interested in how this was filmed, there will soon be a 'Behind The Scenes' video coming.

This is the story of a big wave pioneer who “died more times than Jesus”, a man who constantly risked his life to find life, to find the edge or reason and overcome it. His name is Ric Friar and this is a story of ‘Phenomenality’. And like all good movies there was sex, death, bar brawls, and a heap of shit. Friar literally became the “King of Poo” and made a fortune in the process. It’s a life that sequences more like a feature length dream: a truly wild concoction of adventures constantly intersecting with equal measures of insanity and bravado, an unbridled grabbing of life by tha balls.

  4. Amber Mozo is a 22-year-old photographer born and raised on the North Shore of Oahu. As the daughter of legendary surf photographer Jon Mozo, a former fixture in the lineups along the famed North Shore, Amber was raised with a love for both the ocean and photography.

Jon Mozo passed away while shooting photos in the water at Pipeline — he was 33 years old. Amber was only 9. Soon after her father’s passing, Amber picked up a camera and her photographic journey began.

While photography has taken Amber all around the world, shooting some of the most beautiful known surf breaks, until this winter, she hadn’t yet swam out into the lineup that stole her father’s life — Pipeline. This winter, however, under the tutelage of fellow North Shore surf photographer, Zak Noyle, Amber swam into the Pipeline lineup for the very first time during the 2018 Volcom Pipe Pro.

  5. It is said in Ireland that every good story told is preceded by a drink. As we lift a Guinness to our lips to tell you about one of one of our favorite trips we've embarked upon, we do so still longing for the Emerald Isle. The poetry of the place. The ruggedness of the Irish shores in the heart of winter and the way our friends, Ian Crane and Soli Bailey, lit its waves ablaze can be seen in our new film, Governed by Lines. Cut by Jeff Alper and filmed by Scotty Hammonds and our local lad and Irish connection, Clem McInerney, you'll find the bounty of a strike mission to a slab at the end of a rainbow. Our pot of green gold. Equal parts sketchy and beautiful. We all left with a newfound love for the black stout. We suggest watching our latest film with one in hand.
