1. "Start your engines!" With that, Cub Scout Pack 182 in Millcreek Township began their annual Pinewood Derby, a race which included 44 cars this year, each made from five-ounce blocks of wood. On many an afternoon when the weather is nice in Erie, a number of Bhutanese and Nepali immigrants make their way to Roman Blaszczyk Field on the city's east side to practice their homeland's most popular sport: cricket. The year-old team is called BCC-Erie Royal, and most of the players are Bhutanese refugees who came to Erie from Nepal.
