Codea doesnt support Beziers, splines, curves as such - but are really useful when developing a game for defining sprite paths, generating terrain and other such stuff.

Thought it would be useful to write a set of library routines to set these sorts of tasks up fairly easily via a Codea/Lua Class and associated usefulish functions. Most importantly, it handles multiple control points, open/closed (periodic) curves and to specify an arbitrary parametric postion along its length (as well as its resulting screen space coordinates and orientation to path) - all useful things Sprites tend to want to do! :-)
