Inspired by my two year old niece who having seen a goat herder in Spain kept chanting 'lots and lots and lots of goats!'. The story follows a day in the life of a goat herder and his flock of goats as they travel up and down the mountains of Spain. Andy Cabic, lead singer of the band Vetiver vetiverse.com/ kindly gave me permission to use his track for the film which was fantastic.
There is no dialogue. The story is told using sound and movement.
I created this film during a break between animating on 'Peppa Pig' and 'Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom'.
I would love to make this in to an app for the iPAD as an interactive animated storybook for kids.

For his brand new comedy-meets-music-video series on Sky Atlantic HD "Adam Buxton's BUG", Adam talks about the art of making videos and shows a few of his favourites along with the You Tube commentary that we have all grown to love at his live BUG shows at the BFI on London's Southbank.
Adam chose to collaborate with a handful of his favourite directors to create a series of special videos for the series. Animation super-siblings the Layzell Bros transformed him into a 2-dimensional vagrant for their psychedelic interpretation of Tiny Tim's impossibly cheerful 1968 version of 'Livin' in the Sunlight, Lovin' in the Moonlight', a song originally featured in a 1930 Maurice Chevalier film 'The Big Pond'.
The Layzells teamed with illustrator Jim Stoten to take us on a surreal romp through a richly textured cartoon world dreamed up by a hallucinating out-of-work animator (played by Mr Buxton himself).
