An animation film I made at a one month workshop in Arteleku, Donostia, Basque Country.
Charrette is the word used by architect students to describe the days of intense work with no sleep in order to finish a project by the deadline, it has a curious history.
The workshop was taught by Maureen Selwood from CalArts, and coordinated by Isabel Herguera. The sound was done at a parallel workshop taught by Alberto Castro and coordinated by Xavi Erkizia. The final montage was done by Eduardo Elosegui.
Everything is drawn with pencil and ink, then scanned. I used Boinx iStopMotion Pro to test the timing, and Eduardo used Adobe After Effects to do the final movie.
