  4. Low head recirculating aquaculture system for Koi. The tank (diameter=4,56 m, volume= 18000 liters) is built with coarrugated, galvanized steel sheets. The base (concrete mixed with Sika polypropylene fibers) was waterproofed with SIKA 107 Top Seal and acrylic paint for swimmingpools. The water circulation and filtration run exclusively through two airlifts of 110 mm. They aim to create a circular current whose direction of rotation can be easily changed just moving the airlift's elbows. A Secoh air pump (41 watts) provides air to the airlifts via 20 mm flex PVC pipe. A third, external airlift will purge the dirt from the central drain. It will be powered by a second and smaller air pump coupled to a timer.

Estará impulsado por otra bomba de aire de menor potencia acoplada a un temporizador.

    El nuevo estanque de Kois de Jesús de Frutos cuenta con 85.000 litros, 2,2 m de profundidad, y está impermeabilizado con una capa de poliuretano proyectado. Cuenta con 4 bottom drains y 3 skimmers 3. El filtro con Kaldnes estático funciona gracias a 4 bombas de aire Hailea V60 de 35 w cada una, conectados a 7 airlifts de 110 mm de diámetro que bombean agua de los 4 BD y de los 3 skimmers.
    Con tan sólo 4x35 W (140 W), se obtiene un caudal de 72.000 l/h.
    El proceso diario de limpieza del K1 estático se ha automatizado con temporizadores que de forma secuencial: 1) desconectan las bombas de aire que hacen funcionar los 7 airlifts, 2) activan una 5ª bomba de aire conectada a difusores que agitan el K1 para que se limpie durante 1 h, 3) activan dos bombas sumergibles para evacuar el agua sucia a un depósito subterráneo, desde donde se recicla para el riego, y 4)
    conectan de nuevo las 4 bombas de aire que alimentan los airlifts para reiniciar la filtración.
    El filtro tiene un fondo con pendientes hacia dos sumideros, que permiten un rápido drenaje manual.
    Una bomba de aire adicional se activa automáticamente mediante un temporizador durante 1 hora por día para airear los 4 BD y facilitar la absorción de suciedad del fondo.

    The homemade filter is filled with staticKaldnes K1. The daily cleaning process has been automated with timers that sequentially: 1) turn off the air pumps for the airlifts, 2) turn on a 5th air pump to agitate the K1 for 1 h, 3) turn on two submersible pumps to evacuate
    the dirt to an underground tank, where it is recycled for irrigation, and 4) turn on again the 4 air pumps driving the airlifts to restart filtration.
    The filter has a sloping bottom to 2 sewage drains that allow quick manual drainage. An additional air pump is automatically turned on by timer 1 h per day to aerate the 4 BD.
