This video is about Julieta Aranda's 8th Berlin Biennale installation STEALING ONE'S OWN CORPSE (An alternative set of footholds for an ascent into the dark)(2014) at the KW Institute for Contemporary Art and her performance in the Ethnological Museum in Dahlem, Berlin. Her work is about the space race and the creation of desire related to neo-colonialism. She reflects on the concepts of escape and escapism in relation to the trap and the trick. Julieta's work was shown during the 8th Biennale of Berlin in 2014, and was selected by the curator Juan Gaitán.
