  3. The Associated difference has helped HOM Furniture meet customer demands

    HOM is one of the largest national furniture retailers, operating 13 mid to high-end HOM Furniture stores in the greater Minneapolis/St.Paul area. In addition, HOM operates three Gabberts Design Studio & Fine Furniture Galleries and a DOCK86 showroom. Their ultimate goal is to provide great furniture and service to their customers while being a valuable member of the community.

    Over the past five years, Associated has been instrumental in providing HOM Furniture with solutions that have helped them increase efficiencies and boost productivity, including servicing over fifty lift trucks at six different locations.

    Recently HOM needed to renew the lift truck fleet at their Corporate Headquarters in Coon Rapids, MN. Rosendo Delgadillo, HOM Furniture, Operations Manager, said "When it came time to renew our fleet it was the obvious choice to go with Associated again. We are very happy with the partnership we have built with them".

    Additionally, when it came to reevaluate their service program, HOM Furniture decided to continue with a Schedule Maintenance Program through Associated. When asked about this decision, Rosendo said, "Associated has provided great feedback on our repair costs as well as an excellent service plan that has helped us spread out the maintenance costs that come with running a large fleet such as this".

    In recognition of Associated's value added partnership with HOM, they presented two Associated team members with a "2011 Service Representative of the Year" Award. Ron Holm, Field Service Technician and Kevin Bjick, Customer Care Manager were the humbled recipients of this honor. "This is an award that is given to our service vendor that has had the highest impact on our operation for the year. It is the top non-employee award that we give out", said Rosendo.

    When asked further about the recipients of this award Rosendo went on to say, "Kevin and Ron have done a great job with our account in building a partnership. They help us deliver the type of customer service that we deliver each day to our customers. Their true understanding of our needs combined with the unique solutions Associated offers, allowed them to make a difference for HOM Furniture".
