1. A very special thanks to the City of Inglewood, Chief of Police Mark Fronterotta, Lieutenant James Madia, Sergeant Dirk Dewachter, and to the Men and Women of the Inglewood Police Department. None of this would have been possible without them.

This project was only made possible by the help of a truly amazing and talented timelapse team which included; Joe Capra, Chris Pritchard, Brian Hawkins, Andrew Walker, Ryan Killackey and myself.
This truly was a once in a lifetime opportunity that we are so happy and honored to have been be a part of.

The endeavor started on Thursday night and went on until Sunday night, with very little sleep to no sleep. The only thing that kept us going was pure love of the art and adrenaline. One thing that stood out the most for me, while I was shooting, was the people of Los Angeles. It was so powerful to see the excitement on peoples faces and the pride of their home town. No matter how many times I would see the Shuttle it would never get old.

This has been an amazing experience that I will never forget. My hope is that this film will show you the amount of dedicated people and teamwork that it took to get the Endeavour to its new home. Enjoy.

  2. This is some of the timelapse sequences I recorded in Iceland in september of 2013.
Over three weeks we drove nearly 5500km taking more than 40000 photos on the way.

Recorded with Nikon cameras and lenses. Post-processed with LRTimelapse, Adobe Lightroom and Adobe After Effects. Motion control sequences done with a Stage One dolly from Dynamic Perception and a Celestron Skywatcher pan/tilt head.

Thanks to Micheal Levy for his excellent photographer's map of Iceland - international-photographer.com/maps/iceland/

  4. So I saw all of these pictures of that volcano in Iceland nobody can pronounce the name of, so I figured I should go and do something that is not news footage but something more cinematic. But the flights to get over took forever as expected (somewhat). 4 days after leaving I finally made it, but the weather was terrible for another 4. Just before leaving it got pretty good for about a day and a half and this is what I managed to get.

Wish I had more time. I missed all the cool Lightning and the Lava of the first eruption. But I figure this will just be a trial run for another day.

I am of course accepting sponsors to send me back there for more please...!! haha

  5. UPDATE - April 2012 - Portions of 'Abu Dhabi 2011' are featured in the 3rd episode of BBC's 'Wild Arabia' documentary Series

UPDATE - Aug 2013 - 'Abu Dhabi 2011' is entered into Encyclopaedia Britannica 'Project Time-Lapse'. Very honored to have my work featured there!!

I’d like to thank Timesand Studios for their support on this project. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the obliging staff of Arabian Construction Company and Arabtec - their management was very helpful and understanding - and all the safety staff that catered to my every need throughout the shoot. Lastly, I want to extend my super-special thanks to Mr. Ousama Ghannoum, Marketing and Media Director of Aldar. Without his help, this film would’ve never seen the light.
There was quite a media frenzy about this film; below are some of the newspapers, magazines and even TV networks that interviewed me:
