1. Live truly free! Live so God can use you. Forgive! Let it go and trust God to solve the problem. As Christians, we tend to forget our little pet 'grudges' when we consider "forgiveness". You know the one that allows you feel that you have forgiven all those who have offended you while you hold onto certain offenders. We sometime feel righteous indignation while we hold onto old grudges. We refuse to let go of the hurt and consequently it affects every decision we make. Peter’s question was, “How many times shall I forgive my brother?”

  3. Once Jesus set his face like flint, he made the decision to enter Jerusalem for the final time. His trip included healing two blind men and saving one hated tax collector. Once in Jerusalem, Jesus instituted the New Covenant and became the actual "Lamb of God". That night Jesus had to overcome the desires of the flesh. He went to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray. His prayer was "Lord let this cup pass." His flesh did not want to go to the cross. Jesus' agony was so great that the Bible records that he sweated blood.

  4. The centrally located Toparch of Samaria at the time of Jesus was a district inhabited by a political and religious splinter group antagonistic towards those in the toparches of the north (Galilee) and the south (Judea). Jesus, being from the Toparches of both Galilee by residence and Judea by birth, felt compelled to lead a woman of questionable character in Samaria to the Kingdom of God. This woman is often referred to as "the woman at the well". Jesus said that He came not to condemn but rather, "to seek and to save that which is lost." God is looking for you. All of us have problems or situations that require divine attention, like the woman at the well, and the woman taken in adultery.
