We're going to attach the flexible fence rail to the dead end post, and we're going to show you how to insert the horse fence rail into the horse fencing interim brackets. We're going to prepare the horse fence rail for straining, and we're going to then strain the horse fence rail.

  3. How to install Bounce Back Horse Fence
We're going to talk about our tools required for installing our Bounce Back Horse Fence. We've got our measuring tools here, our tape measure, it's fairly self-explanatory. We've got our marking pens, you can see we've got our white marking pen for black horse fence, to make it easier, and a standard black marking pen. Our square bolt cutters, we'll need those bolt cutters to snip that wire when we're cutting our horse fence rail. We've got our other cutting tools here, our snips, our pliers, and our wire strippers. The wire strippers are used...they're to score the plastic when we're pulling the sheath away from the wire on the horse fence rail.
Moving over here, today we've got an electric drill. And a drill bit, at least 200mm long, 12mm in diameter, nice sharp wood bit, makes the job easier. Impact driver, with our 5/16th bit for our tech screws, to put our brackets on. And here we have our fencing for horses gripper tool. Now a gripper tool's available at Bounce Back Horse Fence, fencingforhorses.com.au. If you don't have a gripper tool and you need one, please go and see your local rural store or hardware store, tell them that you're using 2.5 wire, and maybe take a vice grip in with you or something like that, it'll be of assistance to them.

  4. How to install Bounce Back Horse Fence
We're going to talk about our parts for the Bounce Back® Horse Fence, all of our horse fencing supplies. We've got our horse fence rail here, in white, brown, and black. As you can see on this black example, we've got two 2.5 high-tensile wires in or horse rail fence. This is very important, that they're high-tensile, because we can impart greater strains on the horse fence.
Here we've got our low-profile vice grip. As you can see, it's got a one-way jaw inside, so once the wire's in, it won't come out.
Our joiner, again, one way jaws for joining long runs, parts of horse rail fence, that the owners may cut. Our polycarb horse fence bracket, again, low profile, nice and smooth, won't rust, fade, or warp. Our top fix polycarb horse fence bracket, and we have our white and black for the Flexifence (Flexafence) horse fence system still available.
Our screws, type 17 screw, 5/16th head, with a neoprene washer. The neoprene washer's very important for not imparting too much pressure on the polycarb horse fence bracket, when we're using our impact driver.
Okay, that's our parts list for Bounce Back® Horse Fence system

  5. How to install Bounce Back Horse Fence
Now we're going to talk to you about the posts used with the Bounce Back ® Horse Fence system. Our customers acquired their posts from their local supplier, and over time have used a number of different materials. Mainly timber, occasionally metal, and occasionally plastic. Most of our customers use timber posts, because they're sturdy, and strong, easily screwed and drill-able, they're readily available, economical, and they can also be driven in, which provides extra strength in the ground.
Now, about our interim posts. Our customer today has chosen 120mm treated pine timber posts for their horse fence. We wouldn't recommend anything less than 100mm, because of the potential of breaking the post. These are spaced about 3 meters apart, which is typical. Our system can handle anywhere between 2 and 5 meters. That gives the customer flexibility to match other fencing in the area, and to customize it for their purpose.
That's enough about the interim posts, let's talk about the straining post. Today our customer's chosen a 200mm round hardwood timber post, which is particularly sturdy. It's been concreted in, for extra strength, and they've braced it with a [stool 00:05:57] brace like this, into the ground so it can go nowhere, and handle the strain of the product. If you're using timber bracing, normally we ...because it's wider and broader, we come off the side to make sure that we've got free space for the horse fence rail down the centre line. For any more questions about bracing and straining posts for fencing for horses, have a look at our installation page on our website, fencing4horses.com.au\installation, which will give you a lot of examples on different bracing techniques to be employed.

Bounce Back ® horse fence is the only fencing option if you are serious about
protecting the well-being and value of your livestock.
Think of Bounce Back ® as a safety belt for your horses.
The Bounce Back ® system has been engineered to provide the optimum balance between equine safety and containment. Rails are highly visible and have no sharp edges. Low profile brackets complement its smooth appearance and enhance protective qualities. Unlike traditional fencing systems, this fence will flex and return against low to medium level collision. In the case of severe impacts, Bounce Back ® is designed to reduce danger to livestock by stretching and cushioning impact.
Bounce Back ® horse fencing ensures a higher level of safety due to its’ flexible, plastic build. Horses are fast and strong animals, so a less forgiving horse fence can potentially increase your vet bills and injure your animals unnecessarily. Our horse fencing does not splinter either, and doesn’t have sharp edges or corners. For DIY installations and contractors Bounce Back ® provides a durable, aesthetically pleasing, easy to install, high quality solution to your horse fencing needs.
Bounce Back ® is proudly 100% Australian owned, and has been manufactured in our Western Sydney location for over 34 years.
