The Berlin International Film Festival 'Berlinale' is one of the world's leading film festivals with over 400 international films shown and considered as one of the largest publicly attended film festivals in the world. This year I was invited to attend the international premier of 'The Beat Beneath my Feet' which was the only British film chosen for the Generation 14 Plus category. This is my short journey of the trip captured handheld and edited from my iPhone and iMovie with the help of Team TFA, my daughter and son who were granted special leave from their headmasters to attend the festival. I love the energy and enthusiasm of the people of Berlin and if you missed the festival this year I urge you to attend in 2016 as it is a truly remarkable event and celebrated beautifully throughout the city. I met people from all over the world and even met up with fellow Vimean and film maker Patrick Chadwick who has moved over to Berlin.
All timelapses were done using the miniatures App. The iPhone 6 Plus is pretty stable and I used some of my steady techniques found in one of my previous videos 'Steady iPhone4S' vimeo.com/30835667 music is from the Vimeo Music Store by the awesome BrokeforFree.com 'Like Swimming'.
It is really nice to see Scoop Films who I have been following for 2 years now (remember this vimeo.com/73023280) come so far and receive the recognition for all their hard work. They have a national screening of the film on the 12th May through the Picturehouse chain and so please don't miss it if you are in the UK :)
