1. Crossing Tajikistan by bicycle in summer 2013.
This is the part 1 on 2 of my journey across Tajikistan.

Itinerary on this Video : I came from Uzbekistan and head to Kyrgyzstan. The film starts in Dushanbe. Me and my friend Jacques (another traveller I've met couple of months earlier in Turkey) were heading East following Vakhsh valley and the Obikhingou valley. From Tavildara, we climbed the amazing Khaburabot Pass (3252m) and reached the Afghan border in Qal'ai Khumb. After this we followed Panj river until Khorog.
In the next video, I will cross the Wakhan corridor and the Pamirs.

  3. Crossing Turkmenistan by bicycle in Summer 2013.

Itinerary on this Video : From Sarakhs (border with Iran), to Hanhozul Reservoir where I tasted some great samsa and I got at least 200 mosquito bites in one night ! Then, I went to Mary, a city in the desert with a quite luxurious centre, this was a big contrast with the rather simple life of the countryside. Few kilometres after Mary started 200 km of desert which I crossed in 2 days. After 4 days I arrived in Turkmenabat, I slept in a school and the next day I left Turkmenistan on time. I had only a 5 day transit visa to cross the country, so I thought I would be mostly spending time on my bicycle but actually I had a really nice time and met very generous and lovely people.
