    This show is dedicated to the magical cannabis plant which, apparently, can do more than get you high.

    Henry and Len, two hemp enthusiasts, joined us in the studio to discuss:

    * the history of hemp
    * the many uses of hemp
    * the logistics (and challenges) of growing hemp in the UK
    * hemp production in places like north america and eastern europe
    * hemp as a catalyst for political change
    * how to support decentralised, autonomous hemp production

    Alongside this goodness we had a few choice ganja-based mashups as well as some weed themed tunes.

    Japu Selektah wrapped things up with a tasty set of chilled out dubwise beats.

CannaVision.TV was created to help inform and educate people on the truths of the cannabis and hemp plants.

Each week, CannaVisionTV brings Education and Information concerning Cannabis as a medicine, Industrial Hemp, Cannabis History, Patient Testimonials, Cooking Recipes, Music, Cannabis Culture and much more.

The 70+ year prohibition has been based on a foundation of lies, misinformation, and outright propaganda. It has resulted in having massive detrimental effects to society and the environment. What we need is regulation and control. CannaVision TV is all about programs that explores the merits of the Cannabis Plant as a Food, Fuel, Fiber and Medicine.

We can spread the message of hemp and cannabis. Our goal is to inform people of its applications in industrial, agricultural, and medical fields. This information can change the way the U.S. sees the business potential of hemp and cannabis. Unlike alcohol, cannabis does not kill brain cells, isn’t addictive, and does not act as a gateway to other drugs. Adults can use cannabis recreationally as a safe alternative to alcohol. It is impossible to overdose or die as a direct result of cannabis use.

For both medicinal and recreational use, there are many alternatives to smoking the plant material. These options include vaporizers, mouth sprays, gums, drinks, capsules, and many edibles like baked goods and other foods. Hemp can be used to make ten of thousands of products, ranging from healthy foods, paper materials, and many types of clothing, housing and building materials. Products currently made from plastics could be made with hemp, electricity can be made from hemp biomass, or even converted into a biofuel.

Hemp can be grown as a sustainable crop without pesticides and it preserves soil nutrients. Hemp also prevents topsoil erosion and reduces global warming. Cannabis is a safe and effective medicine applying to a range of illnesses and ailments including many types of chronic pain, arthritis, insomnia, anxiety, migraine headaches, muscle spasms, asthma, nausea, seizure disorders, cancers, glaucoma, multiple sclerosis, PTSD, GERD, AIDS, and others.

In 2008, Americans spent about $150 Billion on pharmaceutical medications that are used to treat these same listed illnesses. Instead of using cannabis as an inexpensive and effective treatment, patients are using high priced medications with a range of unpleasant side effects. Help us in working toward the legalization and regulation of cannabis and hemp for the benefit of the U.S., society, and the environment.
