Yet another result of playing around with pictures taken from a Nikon 3200 Coolpix pointed at a construction site in Berlin's Mitte district. Currently, I try to take pictures every 15 minutes, something this point-and-shoot camera unfortunately is not capable of automatizing. The building is scheduled for completion mid-2010, so this video is work in progress.

Updated materials, more pics, way more video takes, and my first video to earn the Vimeo HD badge - which is nice and good for the still pictures, but a little bit of cheating for the video footage.

Most of the changes are about matching up the music track a bit better to the visuals, and adding footage of the neighborhood.

    Recorded with
    Nikon "Coolpix" 3200
    Panasonic PV-GS400 (NTSC)

    Soundtrack:
    65daysofstatic / Aren't We All Running / The Fall of Math (2004)
The Cure / Pictures of You / Disintegration (1989, published 20 years and 18 days ago today)

    Current version: May 19, 2009
    2,836 still pictures
15 hours (or 188 GB) video footage

Brief update: It has been a while since I posted some progress on this. The final cut of this clip will be released on July 23, so, uhm, hold your breaths if you feel like it.
