This music video montage was created by repurposing stills and video images originally shot by David Bridie in Papua New Guinea for the 'a Bit na Ta' a/v art installation through Wantok Musik - an exhibition which appears at various museums and galleries. The vocals in the song mainly speak of food, abundance, celebration and living life in a natural way amongst other topics. The main themes drove the selection of images used. The iconic sequence of the overlaid silhouetted boy came as an idea to represent growth, of culture and a way of life being passed down through generations. The mountain sequences were hyper saturated and (originally static) clouds were animate. The opening sequence of waves coming in were originally just footage looking out into the open sea, mountain and clouds were also added to create a slightly hyper-real look. All footage was multiplied (filtered) over a traditional woven basket - as if to see through the implements used to gather food. Still images were used in a dynamic collage throughout the blackness of the jungle shoreline - as if to reveal the dreamlike spirit of the song woven into the fabric of the jungle. To pay homage to the singer George Telek, a couple still images of him make an appearance in a static fashion.
Final movies were rendered out using Fusion with audio wav attached and mov converted to Prores for TV broadcast via AnotherGUI.
