Dennis Hayes is an artist who moved from Buffalo, New York to Detroit, Michigan. This short film takes you through the process involved with creating some of the pieces for his series titled "Settle", in which he attempts to understand what is really lost and/or gained in the “re-settling” of an urban prairie.
This is a 30 second commercial that I shot for the DIY Street Fair. It is a free annual summer event in Ferndale Michigan that includes free live performances from local and national bands, a beer tent featuring 20+ Michigan beers, tons of food, 150+ tents of local artists, fun activities and much more!
