Privileged and ambitious literary column editor Jessica wants nothing more than to climb the ladder of prestige and success, but she is faltering, and the pressure is on from her satirical and biting boss, Robert, to bring in the next Bukowski or Salinger (if she has any hopes of staying in the game). A chance encounter with a Bensonhurst-borne freight operator piques her interest, and her hunches about him are on the money, though her moral compass for getting the goods may not be. In her attempt to exploit him, he challenges her to reveal more of her self than she signed up for.
