This starts with a snowy day and cars covered in the white stuff. Hilda, Ann, and Stan dig out the car, have fun throwing snowballs, and make a snowman.
Later (starting at 1:46), we're in the backyard of the house playing football, riding tricycles, petting the dog with a blonde-headed little boy who is a cousin or a friend. Tom shows the kids how to throw a football. Ann plays with a small black and brown puppy.
We're at the zoo (starting at 3:36) and see a bear, an owl, and other stuff.
The footage shifts to the beach (starting at 5:29) with Ann, Stan, and Nancy playing in the sand, riding the waves on rafts and floats
We're back home (starting at 7:23) with Hilda, Ann, Stan, and Nancy dressed nicely and sitting on the front steps.
The family moves inside (starting at 9:20) and Ann plays the piano. Nancy and Stan try too, but she's just a baby and, well, he's not that good.
This starts with Hilda, Ann, and Stan visiting Duke Gardens, walking around Duke's west campus near Duke Chapel, exploring the woods somewhere. When they're in the countryside, they enjoy a nice view, admire nature, and stop to smell the flowers.
The second (starting at 3:40) is black and white and shows Ann and Stan playing in the backyard of the house during the summer. They're riding tricycles, playing in the yard, throwing a ball to one another, and swinging on the back porch swing. They play with the hose some too, and neither Ann nor Stan can precisely figure out how and when the hose turns on.
The third segment (starting at 7:50) is back in color and shows a big family gathering with aunts, uncles, and cousins. I recognize Grandma Sally on a hammock at one point, so perhaps it's the Sally family?
Various shots of the all four Coble kids in the front yard of the house on Club Boulevard. Everyone is dressed nicely. Perhaps the family is returning home from church or another event. Watts Hospital can been seen in the background in sections of this video. Probably from the early 1950s.
