Shot for Snooth Films, in association with Pigeon Road. Filmed in California.
Here we have a piece that I was commissioned to be the director of photography / cinematographer.
I usually don't share my corporate films as I usually like to keep things more wedding related. However, in this piece I tried to employ more techniques that I've learned thru my mentorship with MYW, which helps me to tell a better story throughout the wedding day. After I received the edit from Pigeon Road, I was overjoyed at how the story telling and cinematography really came thru on this piece and was cohesively stitched together by the meticulous editing.
This was shot during the winter season, so no grapes or leaves were on the vines. The challenge was to pull out the character of the vineyard as well as the mini stories from the characters that make the wine. We started early, right before the sun rose, to capture the great looking light as the sun started pouring its golden rays over the rolling hillside. It was quite an awesome experience and the Carano's were such gracious hosts.
