4th time out with it, new batteries in remote control, fully charged battery in unit, second time out that same day. Sadly, even though the DJI Phantom 2 copter can definitely take a beating, this one didn't survive.

Seconds after launch upon ascent, the LED's started flashing in a unknown pattern (none of the patterns indicated on the LED card that comes with the copter). I looked down at the remote to ensure it was still on, that the switches were in the correct locations and attempted to bring it back down. You can notice that two of the motors briefly "flicker" and that is when I lost all control of the unit and the LEDs started flickering rapidly (Probably the "Oh shit, were effed" mode). I looked back up at the unit and it plummeted from the sky.
