  1. The Bit Planner is a wall mounted time planner that we invented for our studio. It’s currently made entirely of Lego bricks, but if you take a photo of it with a smartphone all of the events and timings will be magically synchronised to an online, digital calendar. It makes the most of the tangibility of physical objects, and the ubiquity of digital platforms.

The Bit Planner was invented in 2012 in Vitamins, a design and invention studio founded by Adrian Westaway, Clara Gaggero and Duncan Fitzsimons. For more info visit bit-planner.com

The Bit Planner is an experiment, it is not a product and is not endorsed by LEGO in any way.

  2. In the spring of 2013 Hunter Hampton and Eskimo partnered to go on a filmmaking journey around the US to meet with various creative professionals in hopes of capturing a glimpse of what it is like to work in the creative industry. The idea was born out of our own questions and struggles on how to deal with things that may seem out of your control.

The themes we decided to focus on were those of creativity, relationships, the pursuit of financial profit, and the many directions you can intentionally or unintentionally find yourself taking. We hope the short provides direction in helping others pursue their own creative and personal goals by hearing first hand experiences. Thank you to everyone involved for your transparency and willingness to be involved.

I would like to thank Ólafur and his collaborators, Geoff Wenner and Robert Raths for trusting me on this. It has been a pleasure (again).

Special thanks to Toby Shepherd from rainbowhorse.com.ar, who helped me and did most of the drawings and also to Diego Sartori and notiongraphics for the character design and Marcos Sanvitale for modeling the 3D bird. Also thanks to Florencia Mazza for her help with the scripting and moral support. Guys, you rock.

Also thanks to Maxon, Adobe and Trapcode, for these amazing, powerful tools.

Hope you like it, and please ReTweet, ReBlog, share on Facebook, etc.
