“Between a hectic schedule of filming urban and park, we found a two-week window to shred some epic pow in Saas Fee, Switzerland with our good old friend Fredi Kalbermatten.” – Eero
It’s the third season of Cooking With Gas, and this time around we get a more in-depth view into the lives of three urban legends on their ongoing mission to go boldly where no jibber has been before.
If episode one was all about work – if finding, hitting and filming urban spots can be called work – then episode two is all about play, as the boys team up with Frederik Kalbermatten, a true backcountry snowboardinglegend, in his home resort of Saas Fee, Switzerland.
Eero Ettala is one of the most talented Snowboarders to come out of Finland. Eero mixes raw talent with creativity and it shines through with everything he does. After years of filming hammer parts for Mack Dawg Videos (watch some of his classics here), he started a web series “Cooking With Gas” two seasons ago with Heikki Sorsa to mix things up. CWG was instantly one of the most popular web video series online, and the crew stepped it up this past year with Lauri Heiskari joining the crew full time. Last week we kicked things off with Lauri Heiskari (watch it here), then we had Heikki’s (watch it here), and now time for Eero Ettala‘s Full Part for 2013. Enjoy
Finland’s Heikki Sorsa is a true legend. From his early SLC Olympic Mohawk fame, to setting the world record for highest quarter pipe air, to years of hammer Mack Dawg video parts, Heikki is the man. Last year he blew out his knee filming for Cooking With Gas season 1, this year he was back at it, here is his 2013 Full Part. Enjoy.
Last winter Lauri Heiskari, Heikki Sorsa, and Eero Ettala teamed up to film their second season of “Cooking With Gas”. They snowboarded around the world working on six bi-weekly edits through the winter, and now it’s time for their Full Part edits.
The Finnish trio Eero Ettala, Heikki Sorsa, and Lauri Heiskari are back with the season finale of Cooking With Gas. The crew head to the North of Finland to the resort of Ruka, where the plan is no plan. Good job the end of season celebrations are always big in Ruka, so the season finale weekend and CWG season wrap up both get a little crazy, check it out right here!
