In this fourth installment, Dr. David Lawrence is joined by Dr, David German, Choir Director (10:50), and Organist Thomas Russell (17:30) as they discussed the role of music and congregational singing as it impacted the design and function of the architecture. Dr. German shared some of the science of acoustics as manifested in the sanctuary at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Nashville TN. Thomas took the class through Fisk Opus 134 Organ which was crafted specifically for the sanctuary. The presentation is closed with questions from the audience.
