Big Bang Lab with High Trees Community Trust have come together to welcome the birth of Creative Generation, an intergenerational project which has been designed to recreate a connection between the young and the old in Tulse Hill, South London with the intention to expand into neighbouring communities.
Creative Generation is a stepping stone for the past to meet the future and for the future to learn from the past in a variety of interviews and stories produced using video. Discussions take on all forms from the riots, to politics to cultural aspects. Every member of society has an opinion, regardless their age; however a fundamental link has been lost between different social groups. Time is needed for people to talk, to discuss and to find a voice within their own communities.
A website has already been launched, http://www.creative-generation.org.uk which explores further information about the intergenerational project and allows an insight into some interviews that have already been undertaken and produced.
You are encouraged to share, create and be entertained, using this as a new way of tackling issues that are far spread within the local community of Tulse Hill and the city of London. Together let’s help to build a part of history in an archive of every interview and every story shared. Generations to come can witness the bonds created and the solutions suggested for many concerns and disputes.
You can help Creative Generation first steps into something, bigger, better and bolder, noticed nationwide as the mother of all solutions.
Big Bang Lab (http://www.bigbang-lab.com) is providing this opportunity through Creative Generation with the use of various new technology and innovative content production strategies.
