Creative Kidswork

  1. A video from the website: creativekidswork.com

Different people in the Bible create an altar as a way to thank God or to worship Him. Wouldn’t it be fun if we could make an different kind of altar with the children now. An altar that we can use to thank God for all the good things He has given us. Or maybe use to worship God with.

Place a light underneath the large glass bowl. Pour vegetable oil into this bowl. Add the yellow and the red water. Wait for the water to sink to the bottom and mix a little bit. Now you are ready!

Give all the children a piece of broken up effervescent tablet.
Ask them to think about something that they want to thank or praise God for.

As they drop their piece of effervescent tablet into the oil they may call out loud what it is they want to thank or praise God for.

As we watch we will see our altar come alive...
