The Critical Slide Society

  1. We wander through the well worn foyer in a daze of mix matched fabrics and muted hues and tones.
We travel light, an overnighter full of patterned shirting, comfy walkshorts and heritage inspired tees and prints.
Our door, caught by that familiar warm breeze flings open to expose a room drenched by heat and a linger of stale booze. Strip down, embrace the sun and get comfortable, we’ve checked in for Summer 15.

Welcome to Hotel Particular. Leave your baggage at the door.

  2. Since we are made to believe that all is poetic, aloha, and fantastical. Since our armed forces claim peace, whilst walking with bloody guns. Let’s surf our last waves before we die on the shore, under the black sun of irrationality. As futile as the world can be, we surf under the hypnosis of past illusions.

Desillusion Magazine proudly presents an exclusive collaboration with The Critical Slide Society. The Soleil Noir capsule collection. Featuring The Death Of Cool surfing jacket, long sleeve t-shirt and limited edition board shorts.

  3. Apocalypse in Paradise

A step outside the busy realm of civilization & into barren streets & ocean. Ahh.. Sundrenched and un-inhibited freedom is what we seek. Nothing but the clothes on your back & a laden camper, filled with your favourite brew & choice quiver.
Let’s hit the road, we’re on our way to the Apocalypse.

  5. The cold is cruising in and the days are short. Ya clobber becomes functional, lookin’ flash & keepin‘ cosy are mandatory. With this in mind, we’ve given the gear a good old roadtest. We packed up the old gal with all we hold dear (which ain’t too much) & headed down the coast. We battled them mild elements.
