A recording of the inspiring talk given to CUSP PhD students and staff at a Skills Upgrade Workshop in Fremantle in August 2014. A wide range of topics were covered on the general theme of Poetics and Sustainability, Eco-Literacy, and more.
Compiled from live recordings of workshops held at various locations in Western Australia, this video explains the steps and processes involved in the use of Google Earth as a community engagement tool for coastal adaptation to climate change.
These workshops are pioneering the collaboration of community groups and local government with sustainability policy, science, technology and governance. The aim is to help facilitate effective policy development, science uptake, community engagement and education to address these complex and important contemporary issues.
