God's Messiah for Israel is revealed in Isaiah chapter 53

One of the most significant passages for understanding the promise of salvation in the Old Testament is found in Isaiah chapter 53. While studying the book of Acts, the study of Isaiah 53, "God's Messiah for Israel," is covered, and its doctrinal doctrinal significance explained.

God sent Philip to the road that "... descends form Jerusalem to Gaza." There he met the Ethiopian eunuch. The Ethiopian eunuch was reading Isaiah 53 and was trying to understand the Scripture. Philip, beginning from this Scripture, then preached Jesus leading the Ethiopian eunuch how Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah 52/53.
