Canada Day aka: Dominion Day, July 1, 1867 is Canada's Birthday, the date in history when four Canadian Provinces began the Kingdom of Canada, a federation upon it's own with diminishing political control from British rule. 2014 is Canada's 147 anniversary and we celebrate it with pride, having gone out to not only view the main feature fireworks in celebration; I planned to film them also and while waiting took advantage of the opportunity to get a great sunset shot. The fireworks are being composed separately for now, and while the footage is not of the best quality I would expect; it is our first real night time shooting of this sort and was really used as more of a practice and learning event, as it differs quite greatly from our ordinary film set style shooting with actors and lighting.
