A foreign man in Japan has an encounter with the famous Japanese mythological legend - Yukionna (snow woman) - that will change his life and thinking forever. He returns to the scene of his son`s disappearance a month earlier in an attempt to finally put the boy`s memory to rest - but he secretly harbors a faint and seemingly futile hope of finding him. A drama fairytale set in the breathtaking and surreal atmosphere of the snowy mountains of Hokkaido Japan where - just maybe - believing in the faintest hopes can bring the greatest rewards.
